As women, we are ruled by the tides. We are complex figures who carry many burdens. This painting is about the water we carry within us. We are the beach and the tide rolling in. We seek solace and go for long walks, finding vast stretches of beaches to go and clear our heads. The bottom of the piece shows a scene from an ultrasound that depicts the life giving water within us.
